Raborn's influence on Texas Masonry and Montgomery 25 Lodge as our secretary has been significant and lasting. With over 40 years of Freemasonry experience and having served as master of both Magnolia and Washington, his dedication to the craft is remarkable. His hard work has earned him the Golden Trowel Award, highlighting his commitment and service. Over his decade-long tenure as secretary, Raborn's steady leadership and genuine care for brotherhood have deeply impacted Montgomery 25, shaping its ethos and ensuring its ongoing success. His humble service and meaningful contributions resonate throughout the Masonic community, leaving a lasting legacy of camaraderie and excellence.
W∴ Stephen Blackman was initiated on April 24, 1978, and raised to the Sublime Degree of a Master Mason on July 19, 1978.
Since then, he has diligently served Montgomery Lodge No. 25 in numerous capacities. He was Secretary from 2007 to 2011, served as Master in 2013, and has been the Lodge’s Treasurer since 2020. His hard work and dedication were recognized with the prestigious Golden Trowel Award in 2016.

R∴W∴ Andy Brown was raised as a Master Mason on October 8th 2013, and served as the master of Montgomery Lodge #25 in 2019-2020.
He has led community outreach efforts, organizing successful blood drives, and representing the lodge in city parades. In 2024 his dedication was recognized with the prestigious Golden Trowel Award.
We thank R∴W∴ Brown for his unwavering service to Montgomery Lodge and the community and we are excited to support him in what will surely be a successful year.

In 1870, a group of 13 Masons would regularly meet at the Knickerbocker Cottage in New York City. Often, discussion turned to forming a new fraternity for Masons, based on the tenets of Freemasonry but with the added elements of fun and fellowship.
The Scottish Rite seeks to cultivate in the hearts of men personal morality and the sentiment of tolerance and fraternity. What has been said and done by the historic emancipators for the liberation of the human mind is vividly portrayed in its Degrees, and the Scottish Rite Mason is dedicated to the effort to make the spirit of Masonry relevant in society.
